Research interests

My group is interested in perception-action coupling in eye and hand movements. By using psychophysical experiments, including virtual reality (VR) and kinematic analyses, we examine how spatial information is represented in different reference frames and how these representations are stored in working memory and used for goal-directed movements. This is complemented by experiments examining attentional processes during movement planning and execution. By applying functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), we aim to understand the underlying neural mechanisms of spatial coding of movement targets.
